Registration

Form teams of 3 and register online or at our booths set up at Canteen A and/or Canteen B. More information including the rules and judging criteria will be sent to you after registration.

Preliminary Round

Participants will select a basket of funds from over 400 funds based on a given virtual capital of S$1 million. Teams are to submit a report of not more than 2000 words to justify their choice of selection of the preliminary round.

NTU Finals

The NTU Final will be held on 12 Mar 2010, from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, at Executive Seminar Room 7 (S3.1-B1-11)*.

Shortlisted teams are required to report at least 10 minutes before their allocated presentation timing at the Executive Seminar Room 3 (S3.1-B1-05).

Teams are then required to make oral presentations of their report to a panel of judges. A maximum of 15 minutes is allocated for the presentation with the last 5 minutes for Q&A. Each university will then send their top two teams to compete in the Grand Finals.

The winning team of the individual school finals will get to manage the FSM Undergraduate Investment Portfolio together with their school’s investment club. Check out more by clicking on the FSM-UIP tab.

Grand Finals

Teams are expected to display a higher level of thinking, creativity and foresight in the market during the Grand Finals. On the day before the Grand Finals, all 8 teams from the 4 universities will be given a question via email. During the Grand Finals, each team will then be required to report to IFAST Financial Pte Ltd by 10am* to present to a panel of judges consisting of professionals and senior managers from Fundsupermart.com.

In addition, the winning team of the individual school’s finals of The Next Fund Manager 2010 will manage the FSM Undergraduate Investment Portfolio for their school, and pit their skills in managing funds against the winning teams from the other three universities.
