FINEX 2009

NTU-IIC’s Outreach Program in conjunction with Citi-NIE Financial Literacy Hub successfully hosted FINEX 2009 on Saturday 24 October 2009, which aimed to convey the importance of financial knowledge among students. From Yio Chu Kang Secondary School to Milenia Walk, teams consisting of students from secondary schools, junior colleges and tertiary institutions raced their through challenges related to insurance planning, financial literacy quizzes and risk management, completing the journey by public transport.

As confided by Zhong Jie from the winning team of Singapore Polytechnic, it was a precious opportunity to foster their friendship, teamwork and mutual understanding. Book vouchers or iPod Shuffles were humble compared with the lessons learned.
