What is the Traders Trophy about?

The competition is played in a virtual dealing room created by connecting 30 computers in a network. Each computer represents the trading desk of one trader, at which the participant has access to news, phone lines (in and outbound) and (historical) graphs of the traded security. A full day of trading is simulated in a one hour session.

You can compete for the top spots even without any prior knowledge of trading and the Traders Trophy Worldwide is open to students from all disciplines.

Over the next 12 months local traders trophy worldwide competitions will also take place in the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Sweden, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Dubai and South Africa. For more information, please visit: http://www.traderstrophy.com/.

What are the details?

*Competition date: 11^th Oct 2010

Session 1: 1000 to 1300 hrs

Session 2: 1300 to 1600 hrs

Session 3: 1600 to 1900 hrs

*Choose only one session (Limited slots are available per session)

Booth date: 21^st Sept (Tuesday) and 23^rd Sept (Thurs), from 1000 to 1600 hrs.

Booth venue: Outside Food Connection, Canteen A (North Spine).
