The Next Fund Manager 2010

In search of Singapore’s best student fund managers, The Next Fund Manager 2010 is a joint collaboration between NTU, NUS, SMU and SIM, sponsored by Fundsupermart.com. Competing teams assumed the role of fund managers and were given S$10 million virtual cash to invest by choosing from a basket of funds and securities through Fundsupermart.com.

The finalist teams impressed the judges with their strong analytical skills and their ability to think on their feet when put in the hot seat of fund managers. The top three teams won attractive cash prizes of up to $1,500. The results are as follows:

Champion: CT&T Capital (SMU)
1st Runner-up: The Zest Machine (NTU)
2nd Runner-up: Invictus (NTU)

Another highlight was the awarding of the contract for the management of each school’s ‘Fundsupermart Undergraduate Investment Portfolio’ to the winning team of each individual school finals. The winning teams will manage the virtual fund for their schools for the next one year period.
