Cashflow is a board game simulating the real rat race these days. In this boardgame rat race, the group of 6 individual players must either earn the most money or get out of the rat race, in order to score more points. Eventually, the player with the most number of points wins. Created by Robert Kiyosaki, with the recent outbreak of increasing financial management problemsh with Singapore youths today, this National Cashflow Competition is allows everybody to discover about financial management in a creative and fun manner. More about the Cashflow gameMuch of Cashflow is like an adult version of Monopoly. Each player takes on an occupation in the game and the basic idea is to purchase enough cashflow positive assets to exceed one's everyday living expenses. With this aim in mind, one can purchase cashflow positive properties, business mutual funds and shares, as one lands on the different squares on the boardgame. Be it "receiving your pay cheque" or landing yourself "investment opportunities", Cashflow players will get their chance to learn about accounting, finance, investing, wealth management - all in a single game! CompetitionParticipants compete in teams of two. Being an individualistic game by nature, the inclusion of teamwork inculcates in the participants the importance of working together to achieve greater gains. The points earned by each individual adds towards the team's total score, by which the winners are decided. School category: Join this competition with your school mate and bring the Challenge trophy back to your school in glory! Tertiary Category: Only one member of the team has to be from one of the four universities or five polytechnics. Thus, everybody is welcome - friends from another tertiary institute or if you are interested in having more family bonding time, even your parents orsiblings! Family Category: For more family bonding time, join this competition with your child (between 8 to 14 years old)! Top 48 teams of each category will compete against each other during the semi-finals. Thereafter, only the emerging 21 teams from each category will move on to the FINALS, to be held on 17 August 2008.
Details
